Descritpion and Composition
Cabergolin-BP is a specialized medication containing the active ingredient cabergoline, used to treat conditions caused by excessive prolactin secretion. It works by mimicking dopamine to reduce the production of this hormone in the blood.Main Indications: Suppression of lactation: Used immediately after childbirth, abortion, or miscarriage.
Hormonal disorders: Treatment of conditions caused by hyperprolactinemia, including pituitary tumors in men and women. Composition: Each tablet contains 0.5 mg of cabergoline.
Directions for Use: The dose is strictly determined by a doctor.
To prevent lactation, the usual dose is 1 mg (2 tablets) on the first day after childbirth.
It is recommended to take it during or after meals to reduce side effects.
Warnings
Important: Not recommended for individuals under 16 years of age.
May cause drowsiness or sudden sleepiness; avoid driving if these symptoms occur.
After stopping treatment, it is recommended to avoid pregnancy for at least one month.
