Tamoxifenum

Tamoximed-BP is an anti-estrogenic medication containing the active substance tamoxifen (as citrate), primarily used in the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer. It works by blocking estrogen receptors, thereby inhibiting the growth of hormone-stimulated tumor cells.

Available in two strengths:
• Tamoximed-BP 10 mg
• Tamoximed-BP 20 mg

Composition:
• Active ingredient: Tamoxifen citrate (equivalent to 10 mg or 20 mg base)
• Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, etc.

Indications:
• Treatment of early and advanced breast cancer in women and men
• Adjuvant therapy after surgery in breast cancer cases
• Risk reduction of tumor recurrence
• In some cases, used off-label for gynecomastia treatment
