Descritpion and Composition
Each tablet contains the active substance clenbuterol hydrochloride 40 µg. Excipient with known effect: lactose monohydrate.

Indication: Treatment of reversible bronchospasm in mild to moderate atopic and non-atopic bronchial asthma; complex treatment of bronchial obstruction of various aetiologies.

Contraindications (SmPC sec. 4.3): 4.3 Contraindications • Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1. • Thyrotoxicosis. • Acute myocardial infarction. • Cardiovascular disorders (ischaemic heart disease, tachyarrhythmia, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, arterial hypertension). • First trimester of pregnancy.

Special warnings and precautions (SmPC sec. 4.4, excerpt): 4.4 Special warnings and precautions for use Before recommending treatment with clenbuterol, the patient's condition and personal history must be carefully assessed and a physical and clinical examination performed to correctly diagnose the condition. It should be given with caution in patients with prostatic hypertrophy. In patients with diabetes mellitus treated with clenbuterol, systematic monitoring of blood glucose levels is required because of the risk of hyperglycaemia. Prolonged treatment with high doses of clenbuterol leads to increased muscle mass due to the anabolic action of clenbuterol. Cardiovascular effects may be observed during treatment with sympathomimetics, including clenbuterol.
