Descritpion and Composition
Each tablet contains ipidacrine hydrochloride 20 mg. Excipient with known effect: lactose monohydrate. White, round, biconvex tablets.

Indication: Indicated for disorders of the peripheral nervous system (neuritis, polyneuritis and polyneuropathy, polyradiculoneuropathy, myasthenia and myasthenic syndromes), bulbar palsies and pareses, the recovery period after organic CNS disorders with motor impairment, combination therapy of demyelinating diseases, memory disorders of various origin (Alzheimer's disease and other forms of senile dementia), and intestinal atony.

Contraindications (SmPC sec. 4.3): 4.3 Contraindications
− Hypersensitivity to ipidacrine or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1.;
− Epilepsy;
− Extrapyramidal disorders with hyperkinesia;
− Angina pectoris;
− Marked bradycardia;
− Bronchial asthma;
− Intestinal obstruction or urinary tract obstruction;
− Gastric or duodenal ulcer in the acute exacerbation phase;
− Vestibular disorders;
− Pregnancy;
− Breast-feeding.

Special warnings and precautions (SmPC sec. 4.4, excerpt): 4.4 Special warnings and precautions for use
The product is indicated with caution in gastric and duodenal ulcer, thyrotoxicosis, cardiovascular disorders, as well as in patients with a history of respiratory tract disorders and with acute respiratory tract disorders. Contains lactose. Patients with rare hereditary disorders of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency (Lapp) or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome should not use this medicinal product.
