Marking Romania's National Day in Chisinau with a Remarkable Cultural Spectacle

In an atmosphere filled with music and emotion, the Romanian Cultural Institute "Mihai Eminescu" hosted a night of celebration in Chisinau, in collaboration with the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Moldova and with the support of Balkan Pharmaceuticals. The event was highlighted by a concert featuring the troupe of the Musical Theatre "Ambassadors" and the National Philharmonic Orchestra "Serghei Lunchievici," part of a series of cultural events dedicated to Romania's National Day. The event took place on December 9th at the National Theatre "Mihai Eminescu."
Throughout the evening, the soloists of the Musical Theatre "Ambassadors" and the National Philharmonic Orchestra "Serghei Lunchievici" from Chisinau crafted a Romanian cultural symbiosis that brought forth extraordinary moments of celebration and mutual recognition between representatives from both sides of the Prut River.
OCTAVIAN ENE, a tenor from the troupe, stated, "We're talking about duets we've performed and ensemble moments to bring a fresh note to our repertoire. We bring this repertoire on Romania's National Day, which falls on December 1st. We want to bring the audience from the Republic of Moldova closer to Romania and ultimately to the shared roots we have. We try to participate in every concert because we feel Romanian. It gives us pleasure."
ADRIAN DUPU, Secretary of State at the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova, emphasized, "This is how we celebrate our national day through culture and various events."
The Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Moldova and the Romanian Cultural Institute "Mihai Eminescu" were the hosts of this significant cultural event.
His Excellency CRISTIAN-LEON ŢURCANU, the Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Moldova, highlighted the importance of culture and music in uniting people: "Culture and music will always unite us. Values and traditions will always unite us."
VASILE CAZACU, CEO of Balkan Pharmaceuticals, added, "Culture is one of the cornerstones of any community, and cultural events can do seemingly impossible things—bring together the souls of people who come to admire them. We are honored to support the Romanian Cultural Institute "Mihai Eminescu" and the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Moldova in organizing this exceptional event."
The concert marked the conclusion of a series of events dedicated to Romania's National Day in Chisinau this year, offering a memorable evening filled with culture and music, reaffirming the close ties between the two countries and celebrating their shared cultural values.
