Balkan Pharmaceuticals sponsored the 6th International Congress “MedEspera”
Between 12th to 14th May 2016 in Chisinau was held the International Medical Congress for students and young doctors “MedEspera”. Being at its 6th edition, the event gathered over 850 participants, students and renowned doctors from Romania, Ukraine, Germany, Russia, Lithuania, Israel and Armenia.
International Medical Congress is an opportunity for young researchers from Moldova and from abroad to exchange experience and become familiar with the latest scientific discoveries in medicine and pharmaceutics. The best student’s researches were awarded by the university with diplomas.
"Congress is an experience for younger generations, an opportunity to progress in science, establish professional collaborations and make friends. Medicine is a specialty which must be learned all lifelong. We improve ourselves by taking over the experience in the area, from other countries”, said George Rojnoveanu, vice-rector for scientific work of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemitanu", Professor, Ph.D. in Surgery.
Balkan Pharmaceuticals, one of the largest drug producers in Moldova, provided financial support for the organization of the Congress. During the event, a presentation of the company's pharmaceutical products was held.
"We support young specialists and physicians through various projects and we are ready to do that further, not only nationally but also internationally. We stand by the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy and we believe that such events are important for the development of specialists in the field ", said Sergiu Cerlat, head of the Balkan Pharmaceuticals Moldova Company.

International Medical Congress for students and young doctors “MedEspera” is organized by the Association of Medical Students and Residents, supported by the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy" Nicolae Testemitanu ". For the first time, this Congress was organized in 2006.
