Magnesii sulfas

Composition: Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate - 20 g (per sachet)

10 sachets of powder for oral solution. Directions for use: As a laxative, internal use is recommended (at night or on an empty stomach half an hour before eating), for adults 10.0-30.0 grams, dissolved in 100 ml water; for children the dose is calculated at 1 g per year of age, dissolved in 100 ml water. As a choleretic: one tablespoon of a 20-25% solution, three times a day. For duodenal ('blind') tubage: 200 ml of warm 10% solution, in small sips, lying on the right side for 30 minutes; the procedure is repeated every 5-7 days, and every 2-3 weeks for prevention.

Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate 20 g per sachet (10 sachets). A simple and effective osmotic laxative for correcting bowel transit and relieving constipation. Helps maintain water-electrolyte balance, useful in biliary conditions (cholangitis, cholecystitis) and as an antidote in barium poisoning; also useful for preparation before medical examinations.
